Game Review: Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

by Pat Johnson

If you played The Hulk game that was launched along with the movie, you probably cannot forget how discombobulated the game was. Half "hulk smash" and half "Bruce sneak." Does the second part even sound fun? Well, it wasn't. So, for the sequel, you only smash. And you can smash everything. And it rocks.

Just go rent/buy this game. There are so many good things to say, this review might as well be bullet points:

-The game designers took the "go everywhere" model used in GTA and Spiderman 2. Only now, you're the Hulk.

-You can throw cars at helicopters and knock down buildings.

-Be like Kong and pick up women and climb to the top of high buildings.

-People can be projectiles too. Especially off buildings.

-Clean clear graphics.

-Great control style, running up the side of a skyscraper never felt so easy.

-Flattened tanks can be used as giant boomerangs.

-Slow motion "super sonic slam."

-Solid voice acting.

-Make a bowling ball out of giant donuts, and (no kidding) go bowling.

-Big cinematic boss fights.

And finally,
-Play baseball with cows. Boo-Yah!

In short, the game rocks.
